The Garlic Knot

Warning: Do not use GrubHub to order from The Garlic Knot in Lakewood, CO!

Okay, so this odd for a 5 star review. Somehow, there was a mix-up and the order never went through. I placed the order around 7-7:15 pm and GrubHub notified me that it should arrive in between 8:10-8:20. This seemed odd, since the restaurant was very close to us.

Imagine our surprise when the clock struck 8:35 and we were still without our grub.

I gave the restaurant a call and they put me on hold to look into it. The call was then disconnected, so I called back, was put on hold again, and then informed that they somehow mixed up the order, would deliver it to me as soon as they could, and refund the full amount. About 20 minutes later, they delivered on this promise, but in the rush to get to us, they forgot the salad. The delivery guy was about to run back and get it, but I insisted that they just credit my account instead. He agreed, and they'll toss my salad into a future order.

Overall, this incident took a long time, was a hassle to both parties, and overall a cluttered up mess. HOWEVER, the manner in which The Garlic Knot cleaned up this mess deserves five stars for Customer Service, and the food (calzone + garlic knots) was very good.

Garlic Knot saved me again after I went through my whole purchase with Pudge Brothers only to get a call telling me my order was cancelled because they won't deliver to my house. Food was delicious, delivered much faster than it predicted, and cheaper anyways! Thanks again, Garlic Knot :)

Although there had been an issue while receiving our order resulting in it being late, the resteraunt went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and to do things they did not have to do and it was unbelievably appreciated. I will never order from another garlic knot ever.

They always get my order correct. Always friendly, and even when I made the mistake of accidentally selecting pick up, when I called, they delivered anyway. Love, love, love this place! Authentic NY style pizza, Italian pasta and just delicious!

I liked their pasta, baked Ziti was great love the marinara sauce and the garlic knots. The Sicilian pizza was a bit overcooked and burnt on the crust underneath.

I was visiting but if I lived here would come again
